To support our growth we currently have a great opportunity join our team in either our Hamburg or Vlaardingen offices as a Sales Manager - Partner Network Europe. 

The Sales Manager - Partner Network Europe is responsible for managing and driving all aspects of Sperry Marine Service and Sales Network within your designated region. Duties will include increasing products & spares sales, managing partner’s certification levels and ensure end user satisfaction from high level of performance and knowledge in order to maximize the benefits derived from the organization’s networks products and services.

The successful candidate must have a high level of maritime Nav/Com sales and will be spear heading market reviews, business plans, key account reviews and capturing strategies.

  • Drive Partners to maintain and grow market share of Sperry marine products
  • Identify and develop relationships with new customers
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Manage Network Spares stock to ensure satisfactory levels for market demand
  • Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline
  • Manage Service Network Training of Technicians  and reporting protocols
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports based on your Geographical territory
  • Champion your markets in Knowledge, Market trends and future regulation
  • Lead contract negotiations with the support of cross-functional teams
  • Create, drive and communicate management strategies
  • Define and execute market strategies and action plans
  • Responsible for forecasting demand and sales volumes
  • Work with internal and external experts (technical, financial, legal, environmental, etc.) in order to maximize the competitiveness of Sperry Marine solutions

About You:

  • Strong, proven experience of sales, dealing with Maritime Networks
  • Knowledge of global shipping industry and suppliers
  • Confident in generating leads and identifying new leads
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Developing marketing strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • Fluent written and verbal English language skills (Dutch a welcome addition)
  • Shows respect for the views, contributions and different cultures of other team members by consulting and sharing information and expertise.
  • Able to easily establish good relationships with partners and stakeholders; relates well to people at all levels and builds wide and effective networks.
  • Experience of gaining clear agreement and commitment from others through influence or persuasion. Able to makes a strong personal impact on stakeholders to drive results.
  • Takes responsibility for actions by demonstrating initiative and working under own direction. Able to make quick, clear decisions which may include tough choices or risks.
